What time do courses start?

Training sessions start between 8am and 9am depending on which course you are taking. There will be a booking confirmation form issued at the time of booking to explain all of the details and requirements. All IPAF operator courses will start at 08:00am prompt.

What PPE will i need to bring with me for an IPAF operator course?

You will need to bring with you a hard hat, hi-viz vest, safety boots, gloves and safety goggles.

Do I have to bring lunch with me?

If you are completing a full days training, buffet lunch will be provided.

What do I get upon successful completion of the course?

You will receive a high quality certificate and cards if applicable.

I have learning difficulties and would like to attend but I’m worried I will struggle with literacy.

Our trainer is trained to help delegates with learning difficulties and will call you to discuss the help you require. All information will be kept private and confidential.

Can I bring my mobile phone into a training session with me?

Unfortunately mobile telephones are not permitted during training sessions but you are welcome to use them during breaks.

How long does an IPAF/Pasma card last for?

An IPAF/PASMA operator/user card is valid for 5 years.

How can I pay for my training?

Training can be paid for by credit or debit card at the time of booking or if you have a Plantool trade account we can invoice you on your usual 30-day account. Training courses can be booked online and paid for during the online booking process using Paypal or your credit or debit card.

I would like to make multiple bookings will I get a discount if I book multiple courses.

Yes Plantool can offer discounts for multiple bookings please call for details.

Can you change a date to suit me, as i would like to attend the training but cannot make the specified dates?

Sometimes this MAYBE a possibility, please call Lee on 07841050639 or 01327 312922 to discuss dates.

How long will it take for my card/certificate to arrive after the training?

Please allow up to 21 days for your card/certificate to arrive after your training is successfully completed, they are posted out via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Post. For 30-day account customers please allow up to 14 days from the payment of the invoice.

How long before my training is due to start should i arrive at the training centre?

You should arrive at the training centre at least 10 minutes before your training is due to start to sign in and help yourself to the complimentary refreshments. Please be aware if you arrive late you will not be able to sit the training session an the full cost of the course will be chargeable.

Do i need to bring a harness and lanyard with me to IPAF training?

No, a harness and lanyard will be provided for you to use on the day.

Do you have free parking at the training centre?

Yes, Plantool's training centre has free onsite parking for delegates.

What do i need to bring with me for IPAF and PASMA training sessions?

You will need to bring with you - safety boots, gloves, goggles, hi-vis vest and a hard hat. Goggles will not be required for PASMA training.

Where is Plantool's training centre

The training centre is based at the following address - Plantool Ltd, 3 Low March Daventry Northamptonshire NN11 4SD

I only need to book 1 delegate place, will Plantool still run the course if it doesnt fill enough spaces.
